Repurposed Vintage Bead Dangle Earrings
Repurposed Vintage Bead Dangle Earrings
I love collecting cool beads especially interesting vintage beads to make dangling earrings. The Vintage Inspired Passionista above is wearing retro style baubles with vintage black Baroque beads and gunmetal chain. These beads have a fabulous, colorful iridescent sheen and are some my favorites. None of my unique handmade earrings are mass produced and since they are made from rare beads, they are limited in quantity so you shouldn’t see anyone else wearing them! That also means if you see something you like, you better get it while you can!
Chasidy says, “⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Love, love, love these earrings and this shop, and I love, love, love collecting BluKatDesign jewelry :)”
So be sure to check out my Etsy store for unique earrings, also see my button jewelry section for button earrings!

A necklace statement doesn’t need to be big either, beautiful simplicity can really grab attention as in this cute little upcycled tie necklace or mandala pendant below:
BF says about the statement mandala, ” ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great all around. Good design, well made, and awesome. The little box was a nice and much appreciated touch and it arrived very promptly. My brother absolutely loved it and hasn’t taken it off since receiving it. Thank you so very much, keep up the good work! ”
Layering a smaller statement necklace with a long necklace is the trend and Abby from The Vintage Inspired Passionista Blog is a master of layering to get a very unique and one of a kind look:

Mandala Art Jewelry – Colorful Necklaces and Earrings on Etsy
Mandala Art Jewelry – Colorful Necklaces and Earrings on Etsy
Mandala art jewelry by BluKatDesign on Etsy. Mandalas to me are like yummy eye candy, so colorful, I just want one in every color of the rainbow or Chakra! The colors can also be energizing, soothing and healing. I love making them into glass tile pendants; the glass domes I use make them really pop out in almost 3-D. I wear mine all of the time with a simple stainless steel necklace cord like Abby, The Vintage Inspired Passionista is above but pretty ribbon cords or ball chains are available too. Casual and unisex, they look great with jeans and a T-shirt. Great for New Agers, healers, Modern Bohemians, teens, artists or anyone who needs a pop of color! Three sizes are available: 1″, 1 1/4″ ( the most popular) and the largest 1 1/2 ” is more like a statement pendant or medallion. Lightweight mandala earrings that are made out of wood discs and also magnet sets are available also in my handmade jewelry store.

7 Top Looks From The VIP Blog and BluKatDesign Jewelry

Cute as a Button Stud Earrings

Flower earrings worn by the Vintage Inspired Passionista
I “met” Abby when she was only sixteen …or maybe fifteen, she was such an amazing kid blogger it was hard to believe she was only 16! Now she is already 18 and so grown up and busy living in Alabama as a freelance writer, stylist, and blogger! I think her mom bought some jewelry from me a couple years ago for her to use on Abby’s blog, The Vintage Inspired Passionista and later I asked if they wanted to trade some more jewelry for photos. I get some awesome photos of my jewelry and Abby gets some cool jewelry in return plus they are some of my best customers too! In the top photo Abby is sporting my button stud earrings. Above she is wearing my vintage inspired enameled pink flower earrings! Be sure to click on the photos of Abby to see her articles! I make these flower earrings in many colors and sometimes make flower pendants also! Below is a pair in turquoise:

The VIP looking fab in a long upcycled necklace from BluKatDesign on Etsy
This is one of my favorite looks that Abby has put together; with the coolest green dress, leather jacket and a long necklace made from an upcycled glass knob! These necklaces are so fun to make; I have them in all sorts of colors including this colorful Day of the Dead inspired necklace:

Upcycled Necklace made from a glass knob!
I am not quite sure how to describe these earrings; kind of modern but vintage! These are very sparkly and made with interesting vintage tube beads that have gold glitter in them. They are a neutral color so they go with anything. Long skinny earrings flatter wider faces like mine! I love how Abby paired them with a teal blazer (my color!) .
Check the dangle earrings out in my Etsy store:
These are my glittery, sparkling disco ball dangle earrings; they are fun to wear! I also make these retro style earrings in black, silver, red, lavender and more!

Sparkle Ball Earrings in Turquoise
I love this look with an upcycled minty light green heart shaped necklace made from vintage brooches and earrings! I love all of these colors together; they work perfectly because they are the same tone. A lot of my necklaces are one of a kind; I have similar vintage button necklaces in my shop made with vintage buttons and earrings:
