Pantone Fall 2015 color report

Pantone Fall 2015 color report. Personally I like brighter, truer colors but I love the challenge of using and mixing the predicted colors.  To me, these colors actually look  like something I chewed up and spit out but somehow when combining them they look great together! Some describe them as androgynous, sophisticated to hippie and natural!  Usually I add in a brighter color to make my jewelry or outfit pop!  I can see a splash of vibrant cobalt blue with  “Reflecting Pond” and “Amethyst Orchid”, “Biscay Bay” , “Cadmium Orange” or “Marsala”.  I also love the combo “Marsala”, “Stormy Weather”  or “Reflecting Pond” with bright red!  For me I could see walls painted “Dried Herb” or “Desert Sage” but an outfit would be so blah on me in those colors I would have to combine them with “Marsala” and add a brighter olive green as in these earrings:

Of course, any traditional fall colors, like  brown or amber above would look great worked in with Pantone 2015 colors! Sometimes just the color names change but the trend is for more earthy and softer colors inspired from nature; don’t be afraid to mix colors and even add your own to make make your unique style!

What is your favorite Pantone 2015  fall color?
